Thank you for adding the picture of Travis to your favs. I have been to Slovenia and very much enjoyed our visit there. Your picture titled Karnak Temple is amazing.

My son's ex-girlfriend and family lives in Trieste. We went to visit them a few years ago. She and her parents drove us into Slovenia and we spent the whole day eating, drinking and driving! It was a wonderful day. I remember we stopped at a beautiful Russian Orthodox church. But I could not for the life of me tell you the names of the towns we drove through. I remember standing at the top of a "mountain" or high hill and we could see parts of Italy, Slovenia and Croatia.

What type of voluntary work are you doing for the year?

Aha I see. Well that sounds great!
Slovenia is small, but it has most things I think:) I do voluntary service through the European Voluntary Service and my project is to run a "Club of Volunteers". We make social/environmental events every month, such as visiting an animal shelter and we make a newsletter, plus promotional activities. It's a good experience all in all:)
